Kenny Tomlin

Founder & CEO

Kenny Tomlin is the founder and CEO of Rockfish, a digital innovations partner that drives business for some of the worlds leading brands. Founded in late 2005, Rockfish grew rapidly and became recognized as one of the top emerging digital agencies in the world. In 2011 Rockfish was acquired by WPP, the worlds largest and most highly regarding communication services group with over 179,000 employees globally.

A serial entrepreneur and investor, Kenny had previously founded and led i-Soft, a computer based learning company, and CustomGolf.com, a global ecommerce company, to successful exits. Recently Kenny co-founded YouEarnedIt.com, the most flexible and dynamic employee engagement software on the market where he serves as Executive Chairman. Additionally he’s co-founder and Executive Chairman of SubVRsive, a virtual reality company. Finally, Kenny serves as an angel investor and advisor to more than 20 different technology and product-based businesses.

Dawn Maire

Chief Strategy Officer

Dawn has more than 20 years of experience authoring proven customer-centric marketing strategies for some of the world’s most successful companies and retailers. She has delivered strategic vision and marketing programs for brands such as Sears, Kmart, Macy’s, Target and Best Buy. She also spearheaded integrated marketing solutions for clients such as SUPERVALU, Famous Footwear, Luxottica Retail, Hyatt Hotels, Mercedes-Benz and Bank of America, designing CRM and loyalty programs that span social, digital, mobile and print media. Clients benefit from her keen insight, passion and guidance by leveraging her expertise from the planning phase to post-program analysis.

Dave Knox

Chief Marketing Officer

Before opening the Cincinnati Rockfish office in 2010, Dave was a seven-year veteran of Procter & Gamble, where he was instrumental in the digital turnaround that led to P&G being named to the Ad Age Digital A-List. Previously, he served as P&G’s Corporate Marketing Brand Manager for Digital Business Strategy, responsible for digital innovation across P&G’s 300+ brands worldwide. Author of the industry-leading blog HardKnoxLife.com, Dave is widely recognized as a thought leader in digital marketing, social media, tech innovation and entrepreneurship and is a leader in the entrepreneurial community, serving as a board observer/advisor to several venture-backed companies.

Michael Stich

Chief Innovation Officer

Michael leads the business innovations, enterprise solutions and technology teams. Prior to Rockfish, Michael served in senior marketing, strategy and venture capital roles for Bridge Worldwide (now Possible), Texas Instruments, McKinsey and Dell. Michael serves as a frequent speaker and writer on a variety of digital marketing topics, including appearances or articles in Advertising Age, Social-Loco, CES, SxSW, Kantar Retail Forums, OMMA and Connections. He was recognized on the 2013 Who's Who in Shopper Marketing Agencies List by the Path to Purchase Institute. Michael is a happy husband and father of four little ones, and holds a B.S. in computer engineering from Tufts University and an M.B.A. in Marketing from MIT Sloan.

Cyndi Dye

Chief Financial Officer

With almost 20 years of experience as a Certified Public Accountant, and the previous owner of two successful startup businesses, Cyndi brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role as CFO of Rockfish. While working alongside parent company WPP, she also oversees the Finance, Operations, and Human Resource departments at Rockfish. A member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants as well as the Arkansas Society of Certified Public Accountants, Cyndi is married with three daughters and is an active volunteer in her community.

Jason Bender

Chief Creative Officer

The first CCO in Rockfish history, Jason has spent more than 15 years helping brands innovate and find their voice within digital. He began his career as a writer and then transitioned to leading creative teams and organizations for clients that include Ford, Coca-Cola, Mars, Abbott Laboratories, and Procter & Gamble. Jason led the work that won P&G’s first Gold Cyber Lion at Cannes. Other career honors include CLIO, Webbys, ADDYs, and more. A respected thought leader, Jason is a published author, and a speaker on design, innovation, and creative leadership; he has also presented at the HOW Design conference.
